10 Amazing Working Cafes in Buenos Aires by Neighborhood
I have been to more cafes in Buenos Aires than anywhere else. This is a list of my favorites. I broke the list down by neighborhood and included ratings.
Many of these are not popular or well known because I love quiet spots or Hidden Gems.

Palermo Hollywood
These cafes are more expensive than other neighborhoods but offer the best food and high speed wifi.

Von Berry House
Adorable, cozy, and VERY popular. The inside feels like someone’s living room and everyone’s there for a study sesh.
Food: Great | Capacity: Small | Popularity: Usually Full

Madre Cafe
Another spot that feels like the inside of someone’s home. Adorable, small, and always has an outlet available. Super attentive staff. Great vibes.
Food: Average | Capacity: Small | Popularity: Average

Birkin
For my bougie friends. This place is literally always full. The food is yummy – albeit overpriced. They have another location in Alto Palermo.
Food: Great | Capacity: Average | Popularity: Usually Full

Cafe Registrado
Always full of people and usually very noisy. The fast speed wifi and food makes up for it. It’s a chain with locations in other neighborhoods as well.
Food: Average | Capacity: Spacious | Popularity: Usually Full
Palermo Soho
I typically avoid cafes here because this neighborhood is always so crowded. But I think these two are worth it.

Hacienda Coffee Co
Big and spacious enough that even when it’s full you don’t feel it. Comfortable seating, high ceilings, and bright lighting.
Food: Average | Capacity: Spacious | Popularity: Average

Cuervo Cafe
One of the best coffees in the city (very bold). However, the menu and seating are limited. There is a second location in Palermo Hollywood, but limited menu & seating applies there too.
Food: Average | Capacity: Small | Popularity: Usually Full
Villa Crespo
Best neighborhood for cafes because they are never full, have great menus, and aren’t as overpriced as Palermo. These are more undiscovered and you will find more locals than tourists inside.

Doc Cafe
Great food and even better wifi. Avoid during the weekend when everyone’s there for brunch. Order at the register.
Food: Great | Capacity: Spacious | Popularity: Average

Cafe Villa Crespo
Good mix of seating and food. Popular but never completely full. Order and pickup at the register.
Food: Average | Capacity: Small | Popularity: Average

Boiro
Plush leather seats and rarely ever full. Small menu but everything on it is delicious. Possibly the best tostada in the city (toast is lathered in rosemary butter).
Food: Great | Capacity: Average | Popularity: Usually Full

Molina cafe
Corner cafe in a quiet back street. No one is ever really in there and I don’t know why. They make execllent sandwiches and drinks.
Food: Great | Capacity: Average | Popularity: Usually Full
